HydX has opened its fourth office in Sweden – HydX Halmstad. At the turn of the year, Mobile Integrator was incorporated into the HydX family, which gives our customers and suppliers more advantages. “This is very good news,” says Mattias Salomonsson, Chief Operating Officer for HydX. In 2022, Volito Automation, the owner of HydX, bought Mobile Integrator and ever since, HydX and Mobile Integrator have co-operated closely and successfully. In 2024, Kjell Wester will leave his position as CEO and retire. “To merge Mobile Integrator with HydX is a natural step, as we already co-operate closely, and the merger will give us, our customers and our suppliers many advantages,” explains Salomonsson. “The customers will get a larger product range and broadened competence, but it also provides our suppliers new business opportunities through completely new segments and customers.”
Since its establishment in 2010, Mobile Integrator has specialised in the development, implementation and system installation of mobile machinery electronics. The company offers small and medium-sized OEM customers the system integration and technology that used to be a given only within major global corporations. This work is combined with development and production of customised electronics hardware. “HydX is thrilled to be gaining this competence, which will enable us to co-operate even more with our sister company ETP Kraftelektronik, which specialises in electric and battery drives,” says Salomonsson. “Now, our customers will get a wider product range that includes cloud solutions, control systems and modems. HydX Halmstad has a competent electronics department that together with HydX current electronics engineers opens up completely new collaboration opportunities and markets. It is an advantage for HydX customers, but also for the customers and suppliers that used to work with Mobile Integrator.” The innovative knowledge company is an expert in hydraulics and electronics for mobile, industrial and marine applications, and it also has unique competence in lubrication technology. The company’s services are sought after by contractors and machine manufacturers around the world. The company turns 15 in 2024 and over the years it has grown both organically and through corporate acquisitions. The company’s headquarters are located in Ystad, but it has sales offices in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Halmstad and Jyväskylä, Finland. Mobile Integrator’s organisation will be fully integrated into HydX and all nine employees who work at the Halmstad office will keep their jobs. Contact HydX.
