2025 – Expanding Opportunities for Continued Growth

With new partnerships, new facilities, and a record-breaking order intake, HydX is confidently heading into 2025.
"We see strong potential for the future and growing opportunities to continue expanding," says COO Mattias Salomonsson.

beskuren_bild_korrek...At the end of 2024, HydX relocated just a few hundred meters east within the Öja industrial area outside Ystad. The company moved into its new environmentally certified facilities, designed to improve the working environment, accommodate increased order volumes, and enable further growth.
"We're making significant investments to take the next step, and the current order levels would have been impossible to handle in our previous premises," explains HydX COO Mattias Salomonsson.
The new facilities include 1,000 sqm of office space, 3,400 sqm of warehouse space, and 9,000 sqm of outdoor areas, all prepared to support further expansion. In production, three new storage automation systems enhance efficiency, improve working conditions, reduce errors, and save valuable floor space. The well-designed facility also accommodates HydX's investment in valve blocks, which was launched last year, and dedicated areas for the Nordics' first Parker Certified Mobile Electrification Center (CMEC).
HydX and its sister company, ETP, are the first Nordic Parker distributors to complete the rigorous assessment and training required for CMEC certification. This distinction enables them to support mobile machine manufacturers in electrifying their fleets.
Add to this an expanded collaboration between HydX and Danfoss Power Solutions, one of the world's largest control electronics and hydraulics manufacturers. In April last year, an agreement was signed to place a PVG and a HIC Build Center in HydX's newly constructed facilities.
"We place great importance on genuine partnerships with both customers and suppliers. We have ambitious growth targets and a strong belief in the future," explains Mattias Salomonsson.

HydX remains focused on growth

Today, HydX operates in four locations across Sweden: sales offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg, a fully equipped electronics division in Halmstad specializing in the development, implementation, and installation of mobile technologies and custom hardware, and its headquarters, warehouse, and production facilities in Ystad.
The company plans to strengthen its collaboration with several prominent technical universities and other vocational training programs to meet future demands and the growing need to recruit skilled employees.
"We're planning additional recruitment throughout 2025, and over the next five years, we anticipate hiring up to 25 people across different locations in Sweden. We need more skilled professionals to meet our ambitious growth targets," explains the COO.
The state-of-the-art, expansive facilities offer plenty of room to support future growth. Strong partnerships, outstanding customer relationships, and deep internal expertise form a solid platform for HydX's ongoing success.
"Now it's all about unleashing the full potential of these facilities, ensuring the new space is as efficient as possible, and then seeing how much we can push the capacity before planning the next expansion," concludes Mattias Salomonsson.
2025 marks the beginning of the next phase in HydX's journey toward the ambitious five-year plan for the company's 20th anniversary in 2029.
