We also have extensive experience in both marine classification and machinery safety, and our system solutions fulfil high standards of reliability and certification. For the North American market, we also offer knowledge and practical experience of UL and CSA approvals. Intertek authorises our facility in Ystad to mark products according to both UL and CSA standards.

Reliable development partner for marine applications

HydX Mode II certification from Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore recognises that, as a manufacturer, we have a quality management system and processes that meet the high requirements for marine and offshore applications.

The approval is based on the NR320 standard and confirms that Bureau Veritas has carried out a satisfactory assessment of the assembly plant and its quality procedures. To maintain our status, regular follow-ups and audits are required, ensuring that HydX continuously upholds the high standards set by the certification.

Mode II certification means that HydX can:

Manage type approval and design assessments
Qualify specific manufacturing processes
Train and qualify assemblers and test personnel
Ensure sourcing of components subject to certification requirements
Maintaining traceability of products
Performing examinations and tests, including calibration of test equipment
Managing non-compliant products and customer complaints
