Opening up to take new market share

The green transition has significantly impacted the market in which Geotech operates, and HydX has been heavily involved in developing a hybrid solution that enables drilling rigs to operate fossil-free, thereby giving Geotech a strong position in a sector that increasingly stringent regulatory requirements have transformed.

HydX is an expert in hydraulics and electrics, while its customers are experts in their fields. Together, the two companies have created a solution that not only meets the expectations and needs of customers but also the requirements of end users and the increasingly stringent conditions imposed by the authorities, and opens up new market shares in the context of change.

The hybrid rig project lasted about a year. Throughout this period, HydX played a significant role, not only as a component supplier but also as a sounding board in the design of the entire rig. Together, they have developed the next generation of drilling rigs.
