A partner with the expertise to turn our ideas into reality
The company wanted to digitise the first model of their lift, which is mainly used for inflatable boats and jet skis. It is currently attached to the back of a leisure boat, and the company plans to integrate it into the boat's steering system in the future.
"For us, the big challenge is that the possibilities are endless, which means that we need a partner who understands what we want, has the expertise to put our wishes into practice and thus realise our ideas," says Mikael Johansson.
HydX is actively working on development
HydX developed the first control system back in 2020, but during the collaboration, it found a way to create the new control system for the L300 jet ski lift. The new premium model has a strong focus on user-friendliness, i.e. easy installation and operation, while the product's appearance has been refined to suit a demanding target group.
The choice of controller fell on HydX's proprietary CANBlox, which is optimal for the performance required by the project. The radio system is supplied by Teleradio, which the customer knows well. To achieve the most straightforward and robust installation possible, a circuit board was developed for all vital parts of the system and terminal blocks, enabling quick installation.
With the customer's best interests at heart
The collaboration between HydX and Prestomarine has evolved over the years from a pure supplier role to a partnership where HydX contributes to the development of products. The new L300 model is an evolution of previous products, with HydX contributing its expertise to give the original model a more luxurious feel that is well-suited to the premium market where the Swedish company has the majority of its customers. The positive and successful co-operation has also laid the foundation for future business.
