For almost 20 years, HydX has been developing and supplying hydraulic solutions to the mining industry. Our lubrication systems are specially designed for demanding applications such as large roller mills and gearboxes where reliability, cooling and precision are crucial. We deliver complete solutions, are experts in hydrostatic and hydrodynamic bearings, and build our systems on modular components, making them flexible, easy to service and cost-effective – minimising the number of spare parts, optimising inventory and helping to reduce downtime.

Our lubrication systems are built with carefully selected components:

  • Oil is filtered to the right purity level and cooled before it reaches the lubrication point
  • Standby pumps and duplex filters can be integrated for increased redundancy
  • Pumps are mounted outside the oil tank for easy access and service
  • Tank design deflects air from the oil to prevent foaming

That's why we've developed a modular system with built-in redundancy, where every critical function has a backup. If one component fails, the process continues. Cooling, pumps and power supply are designed for 24/7 operation in highly demanding environments.

Our standardised components allow the same pump model to be used at multiple sites, reducing the need for unique spare parts, optimising inventory, and increasing flexibility – thereby lowering the risk of downtime.

Through data collection and IoT monitoring, operational data is analysed in real time, enabling trend analysis and predictive maintenance that reduces service costs and eliminates unnecessary downtime.

The mining industry places extreme demands on efficient cooling systems. Our solutions use water cooling optimised for high heat, dust and vibration – without loss of performance. We have customised and built containerised units in Ystad and delivered them as plug & play solutions to some of the world's most challenging sites.

The systems must deliver precisely the correct pressure, the right level of purity and stable temperature – every time. Yes, we offer complete solutions for energy functions in mining equipment - from operation and control to service and maintenance. Our systems are divided into different modules for each function, but delivered as a coordinated package. We can take full responsibility for the mill, including hydraulics, lubrication systems and controls - complete, customised and fully integrated.

Remote control of underground places high demands on both technology and communication. At HydX, we have the expertise and products required to develop autonomous and remote-controlled solutions that work in harsh environments.

The difference lies mainly in environmental requirements. Underground, there are higher demands for compact, flameproof and reliable systems. Space is often tighter, and ventilation is limited. Above ground, there is more space and easier access, allowing greater flexibility in system design.
