We develop the autonomous functions of the future together with our customers
HydX autonomous solutions aim to reduce operator workload, increase precision in specific operations and create more resource-efficient machines. With market-leading technical solutions and our own expertise as a foundation, we are now taking the next step towards the machine functions of the future.
What does autonomy mean in practice?
Autonomous functions can mean different things depending on the application and level of automation. It can be seen that the machine itself performs recurring tasks, follows a predefined sequence of movements, or acts with high precision based on real-time data from sensors such as lidar, radar, and GPS.
In some cases, the operator is still in the machine, but is supported in manoeuvring. In other cases, the machine is controlled remotely, for example, when travelling in confined spaces. As technology matures, the possibilities for machines to operate fully autonomously in safe and controlled environments are also increasing.
