During the autumn Danfoss Power Solutions presented the new Plus+1 XL104 controller, the management system that can cover your entire need for controllers for mobile machine control systems. Among other things, it has 48 inputs, 40 outputs, 3 CAN ports and is SIL2 compliant. 

When combined with the Plus+1 MC018, which has four 25A outputs and four 15A outputs, a unique opportunity is created. 

– Together, these two modules can satisfy the majority of control needs for today's mobile machines, explains Per Willberg.

If you think of the XL104 as the main computer that gathers most of the intelligence, logic and security; then the MC018 is the muscle, handling such things as controlling high currents, fans, actuators and lights.
